DocuLab Guadalajara is a space of interaction and
feedback, where young men and women who are
at the beginning of their careers in audiovisual
documentary production, join filmmakers experts,
with an international trajectory, in a laboratory
of analysis, development, exploration and
practice of the audiovisual narrative language of
documentaries (“autopsy Laboratory” of a latent
documentary in the production process).
DocuLab Guadalajara offers the emerging
young creators the adequate environment
to present a documentary in process
of postproduction, in front of a group of
filmmakers, experts, which serves as
material of study in the laboratory of
narrative, where they receive advice
and analysis from experts and selected
colleagues, with the intention that
this experience will be an incentive to
complete their films.
DocuLab.7 Guadalajara is a laboratory
for the development of documentaries.
It is a link between young filmmakers
and experts in cinematography. It is
a space where the contribution of
processes and professional experiences
of the documentary field will confirm
that it is possible to establish a
beneficial audiovisual connection among
Iberoamerican countries.
