This edition of DocuLab Guadalajara,
“Parallel Universes. Reflections of
collective recollections “, will gather
participants from a variety of countries
such as Argentina, Brazil, Cuba,Costa
Rica, Colombia, Chile, Honduras,
México, Paraguay, Portugal, Uruguay and
Nicaragua.
and nowwe have the pleasure to announce
that this year Tribeca Film Festival has
selected one of the projects presented by
a “listener-witness” and the project will be
received as “special guest” in this festival, its
creator participating as grant holder.
It is also a pleasure to confirm the growth
DocuLab has been having in Latin America,
and America; in 2014 we were proud to see
the success of DocuLab Costa Rica, Los
Angeles and Andean-Chile.

sections. This is the case of Juanicas,
dissected in DocuLab.1 Los Angeles, and
competing as Latin American feature film;
and Severinas, dissected in DocuLab.6
competing as Latin American short film.
Documentary Filmmakers are welcome to
DocuLab.7 Guadalajara, an event that will be
a guideline in our festival.
