Festival in Guadalajara (FICG)
Nine years ago DocuLab was created
as part of the Festival Internacional
de Cine en Guadalajara, supporting
new documentary filmmakers to debate,
to contribute, to analyze and to do
the dissertation of their feature films
in postproduction process.
This year, there will be 12
documentaries to be analyzed
by our outstanding panel, this
time conformed by Alejandra
Islas, Natalia Bruschtein and
Rodrigo Reyes, who will offer
their professional experience
to the improvement of the works,
thus contributing to the creation
of documentaries in Mexico and
Iberia-Latin America.
This DocuLab.9 Guadalajara
edition, “The confines of
deconstruction and reconnection
of memory”, will be integrated
by filmmakers for dissection from:
Argentina(1), Brazil(1), Costa
Rica(1), Colombia(2), Chile(2),
Spain(1), Mexico (3), and El
Salvador – México(1), and the
rest of the group, 23 emerging
creators from Latin America,
as “listener-witness”.
