Cinefotógrafo egresado del ccc y de la Universidad de
Guadalajara. Ha recibido varios premios por su trabajo,
entre los que destacan: en 2013, Vilko Filaç a Mejor
Fotografía en el Festival Kustendorf del premio Serbia
Emir Kusturica y el Kodak Student Scholarship Gold
Award. Fue nominado a Mejor Fotografía Documental
en el prestigiado Festival Camerimage, Polonia 2013, por
La Parka
, que también fue nominado en la categoría de
Cortometraje Documental a los Óscar en 2015.
Cinematographer based in Mexico city. He studied
cinematography in
ccc
and the UdeG. The documentary
“The reaper” which he shot, has been nominated to the
87th. Academy Awards (
oscars
) and to the Golden Frog
award for best cinematography at 2013 CAMERIMAGE
Festival. The short film “Don Sabas” won 4 awards
for best cinematography, including the Gold Award for
International KODAK student scholarship, and the Vilko
Filaç award to best cinematography at Emir Kusturica´s
2013 KUSTENDORF Film festival.
